Ivan Almonte is a Law Clerk at London Fischer whose practice areas encompass Construction & Real Estate Owners and Premises Liability.

He earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and served as Executive Research Editor and Diversity Committee Chair of the New York International Law Review. His article, “No Time to Be Picky: The Problem of Cyberattacks Requires Collaboration, Teamwork, and Ample Alternatives” was published in the Spring 2023 New York International Law Review. While in law school, he was a Managing Fellow of St. John’s Writing Center, a Teaching Assistant, and an Academic Tutor. Ivan also served as a Student Advocate for St. John’s Defense and Advocacy Clinic and St. John’s Tenants’ Rights Advocacy Clinic, where he represented indigent residents of Queens in Queens Criminal Court and in Housing Court, respectively.

Before attending law school, Ivan graduated summa cum laude from St. John’s University’s Collins College of Professional Studies with a B.S. in Legal Studies. He also holds a Paralegal Certificate and is fluent in Spanish.

When he is not practicing law at London Fischer, Ivan enjoys spending his time watching professional basketball and football.
