Mr. Griffith is a tort and business trial lawyer who has handled many complex matters, involving issues of construction defect, personal injury, products liability, property owner liability, mold, insurance coverage, as well as business, real estate and intellectual property litigation for the past 40 years.  He has also negotiated and documented multi-billion dollar agreements with foreign governments and corporations.

Before entering private practice, he served as an assistant district attorney and senior briefing attorney to the Chief Justice of the Fifth Court of Appeals in Texas.  He served as corporate counsel for the Hughes Aircraft Company and general counsel of another corporation headquartered in Southern California.

He has been an active member of the Southern California legal community, serving on the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Barristers, Chairman of the Los Angeles County Barristers Speakers Program, a delegate to the California State Bar House of Delegates, and an outside grievance arbitrator for the California Youth Authority.  He has written numerous articles for the Los Angeles Lawyer and Los Angeles Barrister magazines, as well as contributing to Appellate Procedure in Texas (Matthew Bender 1978) and The ADR Reporter.  He served as a guest lecturer at the UCLA School of Management on the law of government contracts and as a guest instructor at the UCLA School of Law in trial and appellate advocacy practicums.  He has published both fiction and non-fiction in general interest magazines.

Mr. Griffith has won over 36 jury and court trials, over 50 arbitrations, and five out of six appellate matters including the published decision in:
