Joseph’s insurance defense experience includes high-exposure cases involving allegations of negligence and other torts – including, but not limited to, New York State’s Labor Law and New York City’s Administrative Code. Prior to joining the firm, Joseph earned his J.D. from New York Law School, graduating magna cum laude.
Joseph believes that effective litigation outcomes require complete transparency between attorney and client. To that end, Joseph prides himself on around-the-clock availability for his clients from the moment a complaint is served until a successful resolution is reached.
While in law school, Joseph served as Citations & Substance Editor of the New York Law School Law Review, where he honed his legal research, writing, and mentorship skills. Additionally, he worked as a Student Law Clerk for New York Law School’s Legislative Advocacy Clinic, which operated in conjunction with the New York Civil Liberties Union to bring about transformative legislation concerning interactions between law enforcement and the New York City communities in which they serve.

Joseph has successfully obtained defense and indemnity loss transfers in various matters significantly decreasing exposure to clients.
Joseph has successfully obtained a discontinuance with prejudice for a client whose ownership interest was improperly named and the Statute of Limitations had run.
Joseph has successfully brought dispositive motions significantly reducing the liability and damages position of his adversaries.
