Cruz M. Williams has over twenty years of experience in the defense of property owners, contractors and developers and is recognized for her critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, keen judgment and zealous advocacy.

Ms. Williams concentrates her practice in commercial and construction litigation, representing primarily The Walt Disney Company, The Related Companies and associated commercial entities throughout New York City.

As a construction litigator, Ms. Williams specializes in handling legal conflicts and disputes arising from construction projects in areas such as defective designs or work, workplace injuries and contract breaches.  With her acute attention to detail and persistent tenacity, Ms. Williams is an especially skilled professional in managing complex cases, persuading others and resolving disputes through negotiation, mediation, trials and/or appellate practice, always with the focus on protecting her clients' best interests. 

Special Interests

Ms. Williams is an avid runner who completed the six (6) Abbott World Marathon Majors in 2023 and a host of other international marathons with the same structure, discipline and perseverance that make her a formidable litigator. Ms. Williams also helps lead the Firm’s Diversity Initiative to educate, recruit and provide support to minority law students in the New York / New Jersey area. Ms. Williams also offers pro bono legal services through her home church with the same passion and fortitude she provides her Firm clients.
