Mr. Junk is a Pennsylvania native who has been practicing for over 25 years in the Philadelphia area, as well as across Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He is known for developing strategic and results-driven litigation approaches in complex cases involving significant alleged damages. His practice focuses on the defense of complex civil litigation, including product liability, premises liability, construction accident, and catastrophic injury matters. He also represents nonprofit and for-profit social and human services organizations, educational institutions, and healthcare providers in the defense of physical and sexual abuse claims, child welfare litigation, and other high-exposure tort matters.
His notable successes include obtaining the dismissal of wrongful death claims against a mental health provider and securing a judgment notwithstanding the verdict following a wrongful death trial involving a nonprofit residential group home.
