After a decade as a criminal prosecutor, Sarah Cohen has shifted the focus of her legal practice to defending clients involved in complex civil litigation matters.

Before joining London Fischer as Of Counsel, Sarah Cohen was an Assistant Attorney General at the New York State Attorney General's Office, where she prosecuted a variety of financial crimes including criminal tax fraud, insurance fraud, and healthcare fraud. Earlier in her career, Ms. Cohen served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, where she prosecuted human trafficking, sex crimes, and child abuse cases in the Special Victims Bureau.

Sarah holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and earned a B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in Public Policy from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.

While in law school, Sarah practiced as a Student Assistant District Attorney in the Kings County District Attorney's Office. She also held legal internships in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey, in the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and the Kings County DA’s Homicide Bureau.

Beyond the courtroom, Sarah finds balance in yoga, indulges her creative side through baking, and explores the world through travel.
