Anthony Malecki is a marathon runner who tackles litigation with the same dedication that he puts into preparing for a race.

In his current role, Anthony concentrates his practice in commercial and construction litigation, personal injury, premises liability, and labor law. In addition to being an expert litigator, Anthony is a skilled mediator who can assess alternative dispute resolution opportunities where appropriate to resolve legal conflicts. He also assists insurance clients in dealing with regulatory matters.

Prior to joining London Fischer LLP, Anthony was an associate at a plaintiff’s employment litigation firm where he focused on Employment Practices Liability litigation. He holds a J.D. from Pepperdine School of Law and earned a B.A. in English from the University of Illinois.

When he’s not busy with legal work or preparing for a race, Anthony engages in a variety of outdoor activities, including cycling and hiking. Anthony also enjoys exploring new destinations and cultures through travel.

Representative Cases

  • Sutherland v. Tutor Perini Bldg. Corp. – 207 A.D.3d 159 (1st Dept. 2022) Won reversal of trial court decision granting summary judgment in favor of the Plaintiff, a general foreman who slipped while working in rainy weather. The Appellate Court decided that there were still important questions about whether the Plaintiff's decision to work in the rain was the only reason for his accident.
