London Fischer is pleased to welcome insurance coverage and litigation attorney Robert Nobel to its New York office. With almost 30 years of diverse experience, Rob counsels insurance industry clients facing complex liability and insurance coverage issues. As a seasoned litigator, he is a tenacious advocate for his clients facing an array of insurance litigation claims. His experience includes representing clients in connection with general liability, professional liability, Bermuda Form, and other kinds of policies, and counseling primary, excess, and umbrella insurers on a variety of national and local issues. He has prosecuted and defended coverage actions across the country.

Rob regularly works with risk managers and claims professionals, defends property owners, tenants, contractors and security companies in personal injury and property damage actions involving premises, labor law, construction, negligent security and other torts.  His professional liability practice focuses on the defense of architects and engineers. 

Rob enjoys solving problems for clients, offering thoughtful, practical solutions for the challenges that they face, and working with them to navigate through complex situations.  His background in both defense and coverage allows him to look at the larger picture within the context of both evaluation and litigation.

Rob is a frequent lecturer and author and has served as a Director on the USLAW Network's Board of Directors, Chair of the USLAW Network Construction Law Practice Group and the Insurance Services and Risk Management Group. Rob is a graduate of Binghamton University (89’) and St. John’s University School of Law, cum laude (92’).
