John Sparling, a partner from our New York office, was chosen to give a comprehensive liability seminar on the current state of the law in New York. Topics of the seminar included: Construction - Labor Law and Construction Defect litigation, Insurance Coverage and Risk Transfer, Products and Premises Liability and Automotive Coverage and Exclusion litigation. The seminar was held at Sedgwick's office in Charlotte, North Carolina on April 18, 2011. There were about 100 attendees.
London Fischer works with Sedgwick on a number of matters including the representation of mutual client Xerox Corporation on products liability and transportation matters. Mr. Sparling's practice includes the representation of general contractors, owners, insurers and product manufacturers in, among other things, the renovations of Madison Square Garden, Lincoln Center and the Hearst Tower headquarters in New York and also the World Trade Center 9/11 cleanup litigation involving over 10,000 lawsuits. His practice also includes litigation in insurance coverage and declaratory judgment actions, large catastrophic fires, floods, construction and building claims and products and premises liability.
