Matthew Franks focuses his practice on the defense of major corporations in premises liability and construction accident matters. 

Prior to joining the firm, Matthew earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. He holds a B.A. in both Political Science and Economics from Hunter College.

While in Law School, Matthew served as Associate Managing Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, where he had a note published in the journal’s 2024 edition.

Matthew believes that purposeful case handling with a strategic goal of economic resolutions are the key to success.

Matthew was a two- year Captain of the Hunter College Men’s Basketball team, and still enjoys playing in pickup basketball leagues in his spare time.
