Curtis F. Carr Jr.  is an experienced litigator with a demonstrated history of handling both civil and criminal cases in New York and the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.

As an Associate at London Fischer, Curtis concentrates his legal practice in the areas of commercial and construction litigation.

Prior to joining London Fischer, Curtis defended a broad range of medical malpractice cases as an Associate at a large, national defense litigation and insurance coverage firm. He also served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Queens County District Attorney’s Office for more than three years. Prior to his time as a prosecutor, Curtis served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judge J.M. Alexander in the Circuit Court of Baltimore County Maryland.

Curtis earned his J.D. cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law. He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Outside of his thriving legal practice, Curtis generously donates his time as a mentor and has served as an Attorney Volunteer for the Safe Passage Project, an organization that provides free legal representation to child refugees facing deportation.
