Overview
Tom’s practice is focused on the defense of professional liability claims against lawyers, insurance producers, securities broker-dealers and others. He is among the most experienced lawyers in New York in this area. Tom also handles intellectual property claims, including issues arising from cyber-liability exposures. As trial lawyer with experience in state and federal courts across the United States, Tom assists clients to put in place procedures to help avoid repeat claims and mitigate future exposures. With the dramatic increase in cyber exposures, Tom has put his experience with intellectual property claims to use guiding clients in the response to data-security breaches.
