Overview

Ryan Turner specializes in claim management, insurance coverage analysis, and risk management services for domestic and international insurance carriers, reinsurers, insureds, risk retention groups and captive insurers. In this capacity, Ryan serves as claims, coverage, and monitoring counsel for all types of professional liability, directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, general liability, and fidelity claims. 

Ryan oversees London Fischer’s Program Management team, which provides claim and litigation management counsel and services for domestic, London, and Bermuda-based insurers.  Ryan analyzes and drafts insurance policies and endorsements for his insurer clients, as well as provides risk management and loss prevention seminars and webinars for his clients’ insureds.  He conducts underwriting and claim audits for insurers, reinsurers and risk retention groups.  Ryan is also instrumental in assisting clients with development and implementation of new insurance products. 

Ryan's coverage expertise and attention to claim efficiency developed in large part while he was seconded to a London-based insurance syndicate.  Through this experience, he understands risk, exposure, and profitability factors that carriers consider when underwriting and reinsuring new and existing programs. 

Areas of Focus

Ryan handles complex claims and manages nationwide insurance programs involving the following specialty lines practices: lawyers professional liability, accountants professional liability, miscellaneous professional liability errors and omissions, directors and officers liability, employment practices liability, fidelity bond/first-party coverage, allied healthcare, and general liability.  As respects miscellaneous professional liability errors and omissions coverage, he serves as claims, coverage, and monitoring counsel for a variety of classes of insured professionals, including, but not limited to, lawyers, accountants, property and casualty insurance agents, architects & engineers/technical consultants, real estate agents, title agents, escrow agents, debt collectors, home inspectors, and property managers.  He oversees additional insurance programs, including, but not limited to primary and excess Directors and Officers liability coverage.
