Nick Davila specializes in corporate representation in areas such as Personal Injury, Products Liability, Premises Liability, and Wrongful Death claims. He's also a trusted advisor for contractors and subcontractors navigating complex construction-related matters, offering a wide-ranging skill set that includes catastrophic response services.

Before joining London Fischer, Mr. Davila carved a reputation representing plaintiffs and small businesses, defending personal injury and business-related claims. As a former General Counsel for an import manufacturer, he honed his negotiation skills while crisscrossing Asia and Mexico, sealing production contracts, licensing agreements, and conducting pivotal business transactions.

Nick's leadership extends to his role as one of the partners heading up London Fischer's Transportation Rapid Response Team. This elite squad, comprised of attorneys, investigators, and other experts, stands ready to provide immediate support to clients facing accidents and catastrophic events.

Notable Achievements

  • In October 2023, Nick secured a Summary Judgment in a wrongful death case, debunking claims of negligent tractor-trailer maintenance by demonstrating no causal link to the accident.
  • In October 2022, Nick won a unanimous defense verdict from an Orange County jury, concluding the liability phase in a high-stakes bifurcated trial involving traumatic spinal injury from premises liability.
  • Nick's legal strategy prevailed in a three-week Southern California brain injury trial where the plaintiff sought $9 million in damages. Despite allegations of permanent mental disability, Nick's defense team persuaded the jury to find no causation between the accident and the claimed injuries after just a half-day of deliberation.
  • On November 17, 2020, the Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a Summary Judgment in favor of London Fischer's clients. Nick skillfully defended claims of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Fair Credit Report Act violations by arguing that London Fischer’s clients were not "debt collectors" under the FDCPA, also citing U.S. Supreme Court authority.

Beyond his legal practice, Nick finds tranquility in the great outdoors through camping and hiking, explores the world through travel, and cherishes quality time with family. He also serves as a Men’s Group Leader at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
