Areas of Practice

Mr. Schiffman concentrates his practice in insurance coverage litigation, insurance defense litigation, and general business and commercial litigation. He counsels clients on insurance coverage matters in the areas of directors and officers liability, professional liability, employment practices liability and complex general liability, including environmental and asbestos matters, on both the primary and excess levels. As part of his practice, Mr. Schiffman routinely works with clients on transactional and corporate matters, and provides counsel on a wide array of legal issues including employment and work place related matters, in addition to intricate insurance regulatory and compliance issues. Prior to joining London Fischer LLP, Mr. Schiffman worked at New York Life Insurance Company where he focused on governmental affairs advocacy and general regulatory and compliance matters.
